.IN Registry registers 300,000th domain

Registry.in, India’s top domain name registry announced that it has sold it’s 300,000th domain in October 2007.
The Indian registry launched it’s Sunrise Period on January 1st 2005, while general public registrations commenced on February 16, 2005.
Since its inception, registry.in has allowed registration by anyone. Companies, individuals, and organizations in India and abroad are eligible to purchase a .IN domain.

There are still some good single word and short dot in domain names available,but looking at how things are going,all of them will go away soon.
I completely agree with you, I think the LLL.in are pretty much all gone. There are few random ones left, but they will be snapped time very soon.
