Andorran tld .ad has great potential for hacks

Andorra, that little country with beautiful scenery, tucked away in the Pyrenees range in central Europe, has an amazing Tld – .AD. What an awesome top level domain that is. Think of the potential great domain names that could make use of this domain. Football.ad, Television.ad, Porn.ad, web.ad etc.

Before you get your hopes up, there is no chance of grabbing one of these in the near future unless you are an Andorran citizen or own an Andorran trademark.

According to the rules set by the Andorran government, a .AD domain can be purchased by a citizen of Andorra, a person who has lived in Andorra for over 20 years or a someone with an Andorran trademark. What’s more, any one entity can only possess three .AD domains.
