ICANN releases 6 week IDNwiki report

ICANN launched the IDNwiki on 15th October 2007. Now, 6 weeks later they have compiled some user statistics and related information which show an interesting trend.
There were over 250,000 page views, with over 40% Chinese, 13,5% Cyrillic, 12,55% Arabic, etc.
94441 page views were made by a Netscape compatible browser, 35423 by Yeti, 34304 by IE etc.

Looking at that report, it’s interesting how close things are between IE and other browsers especially in other parts of the world. I guess “just being M$”, I expected things to be much closer.
I thought it was weird that the Netscape browsers were so widely used.
