Sedo drops minimum commission fee for .uk parked domains

Sedo have announced they have dropped the minimum sales commission fee of £35 on parked .uk domains. Starting from December 6th, they will charge a flat 10% commission for sales of all parked .uk domains.

For example, if you sell a .uk domain for £105, you will pay Sedo a commission of £10.50 which is considerably smaller then the previous high fee of £35.

This will definitely lead to an improvement in sales for the two to three figure valued domains, however I am sure Sedo are looking at it from the perspective of higher teer sales where 10% is considerably larger then £35.
