The whole Dot Asia domain application process is turning in a farce. Open registration starts on March 26 and “the Landrush auctions have not yet been scheduled”. Starting to wish I had never bothered trying to apply.

Also if you're checking your domain names don't forget to also eliminate the ones that have been picked up in the Celebrity phase (pre Sunrise)

The list of multiple applications is fantastic - we can now check which domains we won.

It's also interesting how some of the generic names under auction in the Sunrise phase are faring. Values are extreme. A name like wellness.asia fetched over $5k, whereas some lucky punter managed to get bet.asia for $10!! Shows it was definitely worth the time for those who bothered to set up a company with the purpose of participating in the Sunrise phase, and also is a harbringer for the massive competition we can expect in the Landrush auctions.

Does anyone know if Dotasia will disclose to bidders how many people are bidding for each name?

I spoke to Pool.com yesterday, and they said that the Landrush auctions have not yet been scheduled and expect to hear something in the next 10 days . . . the wait is excruciating.
