For some of us, reading Smithers.com makes us immediately think of Waylon Smithers - the personal assistant and self proclaimed best friend of Mr Burns in the Simpsons.
If you however do a bit more research you will find out that Smithers is actually a town in British Columbia, Canada with a population of some 5000+ people.
It is considered to be a regional service centre for the entire Bulkley Valley and, as such, offers a greater variety of amenities than other towns similar to its size
