GoDaddy rollsout Buy It Now feature on TDNAM

Some exciting news from Godaddy. As you all know they run The Domain Name Aftermarket TDNAM where most of us have picked up a bargain or two over the years – some more then others. Anyways, Godaddy/TDNAM have announced that a new feature has been rolled out for some of the expired domain names at the aftermarket listings.

As of right now, if you visit TDNAM and look in the Expired Listings section you will notice an Orange/Green button called the Expired Buy Now Option which lets you snatch the selected domain name at a Buy It Now price instead of waiting for the auction to end.

I think this is an interesting move.

Yes, it’s probably profitable for Godaddy but heck, money makes the world go around – the point is that if you really want a domain name – this gives you the best chance of grabbing it.

On the other hand, this also means that the good domain names – if the Buy It Now feature is enabled for them – will probably be bought out before you even get a sniff.

So, the moral of the story – you have to be quick! In any case, go over to TDNAM and check it out.
