iReit domain pricing blunder
Posted on April 14th, 2008 by admin in Domain News | No Comments »
Someone at iReit.com was probably fired last week. The company sold the following domain names at Afternic at the following prices:
ZLI.com $500
RLU.com $900
LLJ.com $602.50
WJA.com $734.50
PQT.com $571.00
Say.org $500
Gut.org $500
Now is it just me or am I right on saying WTF??? That’s about $50,000+ in domain name value minimum!
Apparently whoever listed the domains on sale at Afternic made the mistake of putting in the buy-it-now price thinking that was the starting bid for the domain names.
This has to be the deal of 2008! I got the lead for this from NameBio.
