DotAsia Landrush Auction Goes Live
Posted on April 22nd, 2008 by admin in Domain News | No Comments »
The Landrush auction process has just gone live for .asia domains.
Domains that have been ordered during the Landrush period and had multiple bids placed against them will now be entering the “open auction” process.
Pending DotAsia domains whose auctions have not commenced yet will be scheduled by the registry in the following weeks. Applicants will be informed by email.
Xavier Buck, CEO of EuroDNS explains how the auction process works, “Customers have received or will receive notification emails about their domain names going into auction. An auction will last for 7 days and if there are no bids the domain might enter the GoLive phase. In case a participant bids, the auction will be prolonged for another 24 hours.”
