MyDomain.com announces marathon domain name giveaway

MyDomain.com today announced a “Marathon Giveaway” promotion to be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

Visitors to the MyDomain.com Web site will get a chance to win one of 25 free .com, .net, .org and .biz domains every hour from 9:00am to 4:00pm Pacific Time. During the giveaway, MyDomain is promoting its full array of unique, value added services including Web hosting with a free Web site builder, URL and e-mail forwarding, e-mail accounts and private domain registration.

During the promotion, visitors who click the Marathon Giveaway banner on the MyDomain homepage will be taken to a page where they can receive their coupon for one free domain. This is something similar to what Dotster was doing a few weeks ago.
