The Domainer Meeting in Paris (www.domainermeeting.eu) is going to be the largest European Domainer Meeting event for the domain industry and community. It will be held on the 19th and 20th June 2008 in Paris, only 2 days before ICANN and in the same Hotel, with over 300 people expected to attend.

The Domainer Meeting’s Keynote speaker is Phil Corwin from ICA (Internet Commerce Association). Philip will give a status on ICA’s initiatives and achievements, especially the latest ones regarding the “Snowe Bill”. He will also tackle some major issues impacting on the Domainers (www.internetcommerce.org).

Philip S. Corwin has been involved in legislative and regulatory policy matters for three decades. He is a Partner at Butera & Andrews, a Washington DC law firm specialized in government relations and litigation. A major portion of his practice has revolved around cutting edge developments in the law of electronic commerce and intellectual property for such clients as First Virtual Holdings (e-cash), PenOp (e-signatures through biometric authentication) MP3.com and Sharman Networks Limited/Kazaa (digital media distribution on the Internet), Pool.com (ICANN gTLD registry policies) and the Internet Commerce Association (Internet governance and trademarks).

On the Thursday night, the dinner and party will be held in a fashionable Parisian Club, Le Cabaret. DomainSponsor invites all Domainer Meeting attendees to join them for a night of gourmet cuisine, cool refreshments, and engaging conversation. Entertainment for the evening will be “magical” and “mysterious”. At midnight, the Club opens its doors to the public. As the pulse of the music quickly fills the Club with energy, the attendees will have a chance to dance and mingle with the hippest crowd in Paris.
