ECO.org sold for 48k

Eco.org appeared on Sedo’s recent sales page sold for $48,002 recently. Quite an interesting sale that shows the power of a .org domain in the right context.

I think that with the “Eco” keyword, .org fits almost perfectly as the domain is more then likely going to be used for an eco-friendly organization’s website.

    I wonder how they got the name.

    The company that used to own it “the environmental careers organization” went out of business in Boston about 2 or 3 years ago.
