DNXpert.com Re-Design

If you have noticed some weirdness here on DNXpert.com today it’s because I have been putting together the final touches to a re-design of the DNXpert theme – I thought it was time to freshen things up. Speaking of refreshing things up, you should probably hit F5 a couple of times to see the full effects of what I am talking about .

So, what’s new with the design? Well, I made a new set of graphics for the horizontal menu above, I put in a new background for the blog, I rejigged the sidebar and most importantly, I finally ended up plugging in the OIOPublisher plugin that everyone in the blog business has been raving on about for the past few months.

I have to say I am quite impressed. It allow me to automate the whole ad selling process ( I used to have an archaic php script do some stuff while I had to do other stuff manually ). What the OIOPublisher does is allows me to split my blog into advertising zones, with separate pricing of ads in different zones. Additionally, and this is the great part, the purchasers can put in their link and their images, pay via PayPal and their ads appear in the advertising zones. I don’t have to do anything!

The whole OIOPublisher setup is really easy to install – standard wordpress plugin stuff that takes 2 minutes to do, plus a couple of OIOPublisher settings – all accessible via an intuitive admin interface.
