NameJet Expiring Domains With Traffic
Posted on August 23rd, 2008 by admin in Domain News | No Comments »
According to an article on domainnamenews, NameJet.com – the expiring domains auction venue – is slowly phasing in traffic stats for their expiring domain names.
Together with Pool.com and SnapNames.com, NameJet.com is a top expiring domains auction venue on the web today, however none of the three have in the past provided estimates of daily traffic for their expiring domains as opposed to a service like TDNAM.com (Godaddy venture) where you can get estimates of traffic for almost all auctioned domain names.
Considering it’s quite easy to gather this information I personally feel it would be quite beneficial for these auction houses to provide customers with traffic information as it would make me personally more comfortable when bidding on domain names.
On the other hand, as the domainnamenews article above indicates, TDNAM.com traffic stats have in the past shown that these estimates are usually above the actual traffic experienced by most expiring domain names so any estimates by NameJet, SnapNames or Pool would have to be quite accurate to help keep everyone involved satisfied.
