Google Chrome Is Out!
Posted on September 3rd, 2008 by admin in Domain News | 1 Comment »
I recently blogged about Google’s new open source browser that WAS about to be released – well it’s here now! Google Chrome (Beta) is available for download!
I just downloaded it and played around with it – first impressions: It looks quite neat. I love the top tabs feature, looks really cool. Luckily both DNXpert.com and the DNXpert forum look great in it, no html bugs so far
.
We have to remember that this is a BETA version so there will probably be some bugs but I bet Chrome will cause a stir in the browser world – it probably has the Mozilla and IE execs worried.
Thoughts on the new browser?

I marvel over Google’s ability to make the best of whatever they want. GMail is a big one for me, by far the most impressive web mail system out.
I also downloaded Chrome when it was released (haha the logo looks like a pokeball.) It does look promising, I mean anything from Google looks promising, but they do have a long way to go with it. Yes I know it’s beta, it seems to work fine for what I was testing through it in terms of display, it would be nice to have flash/players work a little better though! I’m sure that will all be addressed before too long.
