Buffer.ME - A Pioneer Developed .ME Site?
The .ME domain name launched this year and now that the dust has settled we are starting to see some .ME websites spring up. One of those pioneer websites is Buffer.ME - still in pre-beta stage - a website that offers a smoother experience to viewing YouTube videos.
There is a lot of debate about whether the .ME domain name will survive or become another .MOBI. I personally believe it has a lot more potential as it places no technological limitations on its users.
Buffer.ME is one of the first .ME websites I have seen. Have you seen others?
Incidentally, Moniker is holding a first ever .ME auction this month in New York. Domains like Love.me, Kiss.me, Loan.me, Ask.me etc are being auctioned off. I look forward to seeing what they sell for.

Go to namepros; you’ll see a lot of developed sites listed.
I have two blogs on .me:
snark.me
writer.me
Mini-sites for sure, but I’m thinking about developing a social networking site for writers.
Snark.me is just for fun.

Another .mobi?
You mean a domain with more than 1,000,000 registered names?
You mean a domain that is actively used and promoted by thousands of top brands around the world (like the sampling of brands listed at http://mtld.mobi/node/997.)
You mean a domain that ZAGAT used to win Best Listings & Updates site of the year in the Webby Awards’ People’s Voice Awards?
You mean a domain that the Disney Channel used to launch its hit films High School Musical 2 and Camp Rock?
You mean a domain that the leading Spanish language channel used to launch http://univision.mobi?
You mean a domain that leading country star Tim McGraw uses at http://mcgraw2go.mobi?
You mean a domain that papers around the world from the New York Post at http://nypost.mobi to the Sun at http://thesun.mobi use?
You mean a success?
That’s what I thought you meant.

I don’t think that .mobi are the best example of a success.
Sure there are some really good examples but those are very few (for the over 1m domain that have been register)
Delicious is a great example for this
