Use A SiteMap On Your Blog
Posted on September 22nd, 2008 by admin in Domain Development, Domain News | No Comments »
A website sitemap is a file on your blog that lists pages in a search-engine readable format. A Google Sitemap is a file on your blog that lists your pages and posts in a Google-friendly format. A Google Sitemap can help the Google search engine to index your site more successfully.
There is a great little free plugin that you can use to add a Google Sitemap to your blog. The Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress not only creates a Google Sitemap for you, but it also
automatically updates that Sitemap as you publish new posts and pages to your blog.
It is also important to note that sitemaps created for Google are compatible with other search engine
crawlers that adhere to the Sitemap Protocol of sitemaps.org.
