AskJeeves.com And JeevesRetirement.com Porn Blunder

In another perfect example of a corporate domaining blunder (see here for another), Ask.com formerly AskJeeves.com let its recent JeevesRetirement.com domain name expire – literally handing the domain name to an eager domainer/pornographer on a silver platter.
Right now the website behind the domain name JeevesRetirement.com is NSFW (Not Safe For Work) so don’t go there – it contains porn and incest links.
What was JeevesRetirement.com when it was owned by Ask.com? According to SEORoundtable, in February 2006 Ask.com thanked Jeeves for all his help and set up a special website for his “retirement”: JeevesRetirement.com.
The website was a Jeeves’ retirement journal of sorts – depicting what Jeeves did in his retirement days – and was linked to from the Ask.com page for a while:

I guess after a while the novelty of it all wore off so some smart person at Ask.com decided it was time to “retire” the retired domain name.
Seriously, what are these people thinking? I keep repeating this but these large companies should seriously consider having a domainer on their staff to deal with domaining matters – not to mention a corporate domaining strategy in place.
