DNXpert.com:
Positive – One of the top domaining blogs out there. Also has a domaining forum which is fun to participate.
Negative – Would like to hear more of an opinion other than just new reported.
InForum.in:
Positive – Very slick design and a very active forum dedicated to .in. This forum IMO will explode in the future when ccTLDs grow.
Negative – Would like to see this forum exposed to the public more. Not really sure but looks like it could use a couple of forums added.
Domainit.com:
Positive – Cool looking registar + prices are decent.
Negative – Customer log in boxes could be added to the front page.
One-Theme.com:
Positive – Cool looking theme with great potential.
Negative – The front page needs to have more about the theme and get customers enticed, instead of going straight for the sale.
WhyPark.com:
Positive – Top choice if you want to drive traffic to domains that do not get any traffic at all. A++ for the service.
Negative – No pricing levels incase someone wants to move just a handful of domains there instead of paying full price.

Domainit.com
Positive: Cheap registrations and instant domain activation.
Negative: Don’t like the way its a ResellerClub API script.

WhyPark.com

Negative: No different pricing levels.

dnxpert.com
Positive: This contest, free expired domains lists
Negative: From a new user standpoint, it is not immediately apparent what the purpose of the site is, I believe a more descriptive tagline and possibly an introductory paragraph would help in visitor retention.
inforum.in
Positive: A large amount of active posts and domain lists on the forums
Negative: The faq does not do a great job of explaining who and what the site is for
domainit.com
Positive: Good prices on domain names
Negative: Looks like the old godaddy site!
one-theme.com
Positive: nice site, great design and overall look
Negative: is on a slow or overloaded server, I had to reconnect multiple times just to get the site to load
whypark.com
Positive: another nice site, the homepage outlines and explains the purpose/benefit of using their services in great detail
Negative: only payout option is paypal

Another great concept to keep everyone coming back

DNXpert.com
Positive: Holding this innovative contest that keeps customers coming back and trying to increase their chances.
Negative: Better explanation or summary of how one could use the info on the site to either profit from these domains or how to compete for some of the top domains that are expiring
InForum.in
Positive: Simple layout for a forum
Negative: Lacking in breadth of content and not enough choices to create a meaningful conversation or get answers
Domainit.com
Positive: Clean layout and very easy to do research domain names and costs look reasonable
Negative: Not sure of the company behind this service and why you would host your domains here
One-Theme.com
Positive: Love the WP blog themes and they look very unique to gain traffic and customers
Negative: Prices may be a bit much for those that are using blogs since there are 1000′ out there for free.
WhyPark.com
Positive: Great concept to help you monitize your sites that are not actively growing
Negative: Only payout method appears to PayPal which might be a problem for some.

Here’s my personal view for each of these sites.
Username:romico
DNXeprt:
Positive: I like a site when everything is blended very well, and DNXpert.com are one of it. Love the color scheme, even the forum goes well with the blog theme.
Negative: I think there should be a sales page or a big banner (in the header) link to the sale page that tells visitors about the domain name services or explain them how to profit from them.
Inforum.in:
Positive: I like the fact when the domain name has a ‘forum’ word and the site it self a forum and not cms or salespage as it’s main page.
Negative: The site has almost 2000 users but i can see only 10 to 15 users login at a time. I think inforum.in can get more active users by occasionally sending them email (opt-ins)updates or news.
Domainit.com
Positive: Simple and user friendly. The image goes very well with the site.
Negative: The site has been there since 1996, but i only knew the site because of DNXpert. Maybe use more striking color scheme for the site. Looks too plain.
Whypark.com:
Positive: Ah, a sale page on the main page that explain everything about their service. I like that. Plus i love the the simplicity yet flexible for domain parking that they offer. Payment method are clickbank or paypal, shouldn’t a problem there.
Negative: Hmmm, the footer color doesn’t match with other elements.
one-theme.com:
Positive: What can i say, it’s one of the best WP theme out there.
Negative: The site always loads almost 30 sec, sometime longer. Had no problem loading with other 4 sites above or with any other sites.

DnXpert:
+)Honestly? I like the news you choose to post about, with commentary, and the fact that you’re aware enough to tweet it!
-) I don’t handle multiple flashing ads well.
Can’t stand a bunch doing different things at once on one page.
InForum.in
+) Good resource for info on .in trends
-) Not enough disclosure about who’s behind it.
DomainIt.com
+) Above all as a consumer; Seeing “registering domain names since 1996″
-) “Registering domain names since 1996″
Should be GIANT!!! Not a tiny gray dot! Hello?
OneTheme.com
+) It’s obvious they know how to run the ecommerce
side of the site.
-) What the hell is it? (I actually know, but NO where does it say so for a visitor.)
WhyPark.com
+) Well done layout of all they can do for parked domain names. Good that they explain there are different aspects to it.
-) Too much cutesy ‘we bring life to’ in the header/top of page. Tell people “Make more money with your unused domain names!”!
And address for intermediate/advanced domainers, if you’ve handled the word that parking like that can have a negative affect on the name with Google.

Dnxpert.com :
Positive Point: Guided by an experienced domainer who knows his stuff, forum offers incredible value especially the premium domain lists and the blog is no slouch either.
Negative : Highly addictive, forum could be
more lively with more members participating.
InForum.in:
Positive:Good site for dot in domainers who
are looking for a niche marketplace or for
appraisals. Sub-forums cover almost everything that could be thought of.
Negative: Fewer number of users make it less attractive. Maybe they should run a contest like this !
Domainit:
Positive:Easy signup and domain registration process. Less number of hoops to jump before checking out. Easy to use control panel.
Negative: Fewer extensions for registrations.Could do with more publicity.
One-theme.com
Positive: Superbly designed themes for the
professionals.
Negative: No Search feature.Site could help
amateur bloggers also with tips and plugin advice and maybe some free themes.
Whypark.com
Positive: Domain parking on steroids!
Negative: Only for professional domainers. No hope for lesser mortals.

Dnxpert.com
Pos) my daily must-read; great list of names; they do all the leg work so you don’t have to.
Neg) easy to get lost while navigating site.
InForum.in
Pos) gives early insight into domain sub-niches
Neg) colour scheme does not grab attention
DomainIT
Pos) My complaint about signing up without buying domain was addressed quickly, so good support feature.
Neg) site appears generic, same graphics/clip art as other sites
One-Theme.com
Pos) Themes produced actually looks nice
Neg) don’t like the name – one-theme yet my perception is that they’ll be selling more than 1 theme.
Whypark
Pos) Been with them awhile, love the ease of use in implementing your own ads
Neg) Not all articles are fresh; 2 ad blocks are not enough.

DNXpert.com
Positive: A great site for the latest domain infos.
Negative: I get lost in some pages.
InForum.in
Positive: It’s a very nice site for those .in owners.
Negative: Not that much good for us non-.in owners.
DomainIt
Positive: Everything looks great
Negative: Prices could be lower, though.
One-Theme.com
Positive: The site’s layout looks great.
Negative: I have no idea what it is. It’s bothering me.
WhyPark.com
Positive: Something that would help sites in everything (I guess) they need.
Negative: Those site owners who are just starting can’t really deal with this, it’s basically for the professionals.
Ed, November 20th, 2008 at 11:48 am
I have to amend mine
DnXpert
+) The forum is and will be critical
+) This made me laugh out loud when I needed it!

DNXpert.com:
Positive: Really one of the best blogs and sites about domain name business out there that I found, it very informative, interesting, offers great service with free expired domains lists, plus affordable premium membership for even more great resources; and it looks like owners of the site doing really great job and investing a lot of effort in making this website better and more popular.
Negative: In my opinion, forum is something that should be more popular as I don’t see a lot of topics on subjects different than expired domains, also blog homepage could be more informative about the site mission, plus more clear links (maybe with some descriptions) to other parts of the site.
InForum.in:
Positive: It really looks like a interesting forum for specific type of domains, although it covers other types and TLDs which is great, free acess is a big plus for this forum, same as active members, I would predict bright future for that forum.
Negative: Somehow not very interesting look, although that is forum for specific domain names it would be great if general and at the moment most popular TLDs would have main categories and forums.
Domainit.com:
Positive: Interesting registrar that I didn’t know about till now, prices are decent and affordable, even below the average price for some TLDs, affiliate section looks nice and interesting with pretty good payouts.
Negatice: So far I didn’t hear about them which means they need to work more on advertising and making this website more popular, hosting packages are way over priced.
One-Theme.com:
Positive: Site looks very nice and I think they have great offer and by that I mean on great looking theme which is very usable and prepared for great looking and highly optimized sites.
Negative: Price is pretty high and in my opinion not afforbable to most of the webmasters especially newbies for which that theme would be very useful.
WhyPark.com:
Positive: Love the look of the site, plus they offer really great service that is usefull for most of the webmasters and guys into domain name business.
Negative: Although they offer better service than most of the other parking service providers, their fee is too much in my opinion, especially for a such a big number of domain names, different packages and different pricing options would be better, also payout only via Paypal is not enough for a service like this, at least checks could be supported.
Blogging from Scratch, November 24th, 2008 at 8:37 am
DNXpert.com -
Positive: I like the information that I learned from this site aside from the free expired domain lists ![]()
Negative: I want to see more in the site design
InForum.in –
Positive: I like that the forum is well organized into its respective categories
Negative: The admin needs to spice up the forum a little more.
Domainit.com –
Positive: It has a lot to offer for domain buyers
Negative: I think it needs a site and logo redesign
One-Theme.com –
Positive: The theme looks really good and can be applicable on any niche
Negative: I can’t afford its fee
WhyPark.com -
Positive: It gives an in depth explanation of their services.
Negative: I think I’ve seen the same photo in from somewhere. I also wish their payout option is not just limited to Paypal

Updating my blog for additional task #3
Domain Marvelous, November 29th, 2008 at 8:44 am
DNXpert.com
Positive: the clean interface and light features makes browsing this website a very nice experience.
Negative: Judging from the age of the website and average number of comments per post, I think more promotion and exposure is needed. Most comments are on contest related posts, and I hope there is a strategic measure in place to retain the visitors once the contest finishes.
InForum.in
Positive: The less number of general sections make this forum be seen as a hive of activities, even when it is not.
Negative: the domain name does not relate to the forum in any way, which might not bring in much “type in” traffic.
Domainit.com
Positive: I am impressed with the favicon and site logo, which is a laughing “D”). Gives the site a friendly look.
Negative: the price of registering a domain is more than that offered at mainstream registrars. There is no reason for me to spend more on a virtually unknown site as opposed to well known domain registrars.
One-Theme.com
Positive: The site look is very impressive and eye-candy. Good looks portrays good service.
Negative: The amount charged for the services is high. there are other people doing the same exact thing at a fraction of the cost.
WhyPark.com
Positive: User friendly interface…First time visitors will have no problems accessing the features offered by the “Take a Tour” link.
Negative: Seeing from the PR (no PR) and Alexa traffic rank (68,151), this website needs more exposure before it can attract more clients. I, for once, would think twice before spending my money on an unknown service provider.
DotDriven, November 29th, 2008 at 10:29 pm
Here is mine. Though I hope posting out “negatives” about contest sponsors don’t affect our odds lol jk
. Overall great sites/services to be honest!
DNXpert.com: + great source for tons of expired names
- cost me too much moola lol jk. Would be nice to add a source for non-expired names for great deals on the site itself. Even if just a past that list current ebay auctions for names which could also bring in some more revenue for you too
. More tips on actual domain investing would be great too…even if just Johns opinion
InForum.in: + Looks like a great source for all things .in
- Besides being really specific, I don’t see anything really “negative” about targeting just .in. Maybe it would be better to have a running list of the best selling .in in the sidebar?
Domainit.com: + Overall easy reg process. Good prices without needing coupon codes and such.
- Too busy and not “personal” enough. Why would I reg here than just go to godaddy?
One-Theme.com: + Great theme, nice pitch.
- logo doesn’t do the theme justice…not really a negative though.
WhyPark.com: + Great service, good information and value.
- should have customer reviews on the homepage somehow. I always have to explain why I love whypark to people…most people just don’t immediately comprehend the benefits and just complain about having to “pay”. That’s even after I send them to the site…only after I tell them why I like it and how it’s a steal do they get the idea behind it.

DNXpert.com
Positive: I learned alot from the given information by the site. This helped me much for my own personal web log. A great site that domains. Have a fun forum too!
Negative: The sidebars unaligned with IE. ^^ Got lost with the pages too! Oopsie.
InForum.in
Positive: The design of the site is indeed very admirable. There’s alot info everywhere so no one will get lost nor spam or do anything not against the rules.
Negative: Few people are online at a time.
DomainIt.com
Positive: The layout’s very clean. Anyone would be find what he wanted easily.
Negative: There are some sites offer cheaper than they do.
One-Theme.com
Positive: A person’s dream theme are all here! YAY!
Negative: Gee, can’t find the themes page easily.
WhyPark.com
Positive: Gives the customer a great comfort when they have alot domains. Very detailed first page.
Negative: Most of the web owns one or two domains only. Doesn’t need much this? Maybe only for rich kids and pros?

I already go to 5 prize providers’ websites, and below is my comments:
DNXpert.com – Domain Name News
DNXpert is the best daily domain name blog for me. I frequently visit this blog for a months but get registered at this month.
Positive: informative domainer blog and forum, free domain expired info and for premium list graveyard.
Negative: Not founded an important for negative, just difficult to find some important content or event like the contest for an example. Should this best event have link or banner in the front/home page.
INForum.in – Home of the Indian Domain Name Industry
I have registered in this forum yesterday, so in fact I have no opinion yet to tell about this forum in deep.
positive: free access to all thread
negative: bad in color selection
Domainit.com – Domain Name Registration, Domain Transfers, Domain Backorder
positive: good design, cheap domain registration, icann accredited registrar
negative: website hosting is expensive
One-Theme.com – Premium Wordpress Themes | WP Skins & Templates
positive: good theme and fantastic design, best choice for webmaster and blogger
negative: the price still not achievable by me
WhyPark.com – Stop Domain Parking – Earn Revenue & Build Content on Your Parked Domain Names
positive: much better than traditional domain parking, has real, fresh, and relevant contents. They also optimize web site for search engine and rich for customization options.
negative: one time fee is reasonable for what they offers but its expensive for webmaster/domainner who has abit or a few domain owning, should have an options.
That’s my comments about 5 prize providers’ websites listed, and hope not be said gibberish
