Ron Jackson of DNJournal has just reported that Rick Latona has bought rights to host a T.R.A.F.F.I.C conference in Amsterdam in June 2009. The conference is to be based exclusively around ccTlds - which should be quite interesting.

Interestingly, Jackson is in my home town of Brisbane (or rather Gold Coast to be precise) at the moment as the Down Under T.R.A.F.F.I.C conference winds down (sucks that I am stuck in Europe working on a major project at the moment) and has reported a number of sales from the two auctions held there.

Sales at the Aftermarket.com auction totaled around $165,000 and included Saws.com at $52,000, Camera.co.uk at $35,000 and Jeweller.com.au at $9,200.

The Rick Latona auctions totaled just above $400,000 and included CR.com and SanJuan.com for $150,000 each and some interesting .com.au sales including History.com.au at $8,500, StockExchange.com.au at $7,500 (a steal in my opinion) and Snowboards.com.au at $6,000.
