ItalianRestaurants.com Sells For $17,000 On Domaining.com
Posted on January 6th, 2009 by admin in Domain News | 4 Comments »
Less than one month (and a few dozen sales) after Domaining.com started to list featured domains on their site and newsletter they have announce a major sale.
They have confirmed that ItalianRestaurants.com has been sold for $17,000. This is Domaining.com’s first sale of a premium name at over $10k. May there be many more to come.
Prior to the sale the owner had put up the following description for the domain name:
“Italian food is the most popular in the world (pizza, pasta, lasagna, ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, tiramisu, …). This is the reason why search popularity of this domain skyrocket. People are searching for places to eat select Italian recipes. Why not purchase this premium domain that will become one day the reference site about Italian food in the world?”
Domaining.com is fast becoming a top newsletter for quality domain name listings and sales – if you are not subscribed yet you definitely should.
A nice sale to start off the new year for Domaining.com and a great buy for the new owner. I look forward to seeing some Italian restaurant reviews and recipes on there soon.

Congrats Francois! Thanks for covering this John.
That was a great sale and a great domain name! I eat so much Italian food I should have thought of that name.
I probable would have sold it to cheap though!
