NetSol’s WhoIs Tool Voted Google’s No 1 WhoIs Gadget

Network Solutions have announced on their blog that their free whois tool has been voted as the number one whois tool on Google® gadgets.

Google gadgets are mini-program applications that add features to an existing web page or mobile device and Network Solutions released their free whois tool to allow easy lookup for domain names. In addition, if the domain registrant is using Network Solutions’ business listing service, the WHOIS Tool will also list their company’s location, hours of operation, customer service information, contact information or indicate if the domain is for sale.

A nifty tool and nice recognition for their hard work but let’s hope NetSol is not monitoring these whois searches like they have done in the past. Hopefully they have learned their lesson.
