A Plea To NameJet – Make Your Pager More User Friendly, Please!

logo_namejetI’ve talked about NameJet.com in the past – even described in detail how to use it to find expired domains but I never got around to complaining about my pet peeve when it comes to this particular drop catcher / expired domain marketplace.

If, like me, you spend a lot of time traversing the lists at NameJet you must have noticed the same – the damn domain list pager is really not very user friendly.

What am I talking about? I am talking about the pager at the bottom of the pending delete / pre release lists. This one:

namejetpager

Traversing the list is really hard… you have to go one page at a time or a maximum of 5 pages at a time. It would take 30 minutes to get to page 500 if you are looking at the big lists.

I know you are supposed to use the filtering feature to filter out domain names, but sometimes you really want to look at the entire list… or large sections of it at least.

To NameJet if they are reading this: Couldn’t we get an option to view more pages inside our pager or to skip pages by different counts (like 50, 100 etc)? Or at least to be able to chose something like this in our profile?

I for one would find it useful.
