Above.com Parking Manager – All You Will Ever Need For Your Domains

Posted on September 14th, 2009 by admin in Domain News | 5 Comments »

There will always be domains in your portfolio that could perform better if moved to a different parking service. Identifying these domains is complicated, time consuming and even the process of moving domains itself can be painful. A lot of us tend to shy away from moving to different parking services simply because it would be too time consuming to do so.

This is where Above.com comes in. The Above.com Parking Manager automatically identifies the best performing parking service for each and every domain in your portfolio effectively helping to maximize your parking revenues. It is that simple.

Above.com helps you use all your parking service providers from one easy to use interface. Tired of using sedo.com and want to switch to parked.com? The parking manager lets you do it with the click of a button.

Additionally, the Parking Manager provides detailed statistics on daily revenues, traffic, RPMs and normalized traffic stats, providing the ability to easily compare and view domain results within each service.

Increasing productivity and revenues is the ultimate goal of any domain portfolio holder. Prior to Above.com you would have had to manually update the name server every time you wanted to switch parking companies. The Above.com Parking Manager automatically does this for you to test new parking services. The process is automatic, no time is consumed. If the other parking service yields better revenue, more and more traffic is automatically moved over to that service.

The Parking Manager also automatically moves traffic to the next best performing service if a domain is under-performing or has been blacklisted.

These features as a result, mean much less work and stress when managing a large domain portfolio.

The Parking Manager currently supports many of the main Parking Services and more are being added. And more IMPORTANTLY you still have the direct relationship with each parking company and they continue to pay you directly. When customizing your account you can choose to create new accounts at other parking platforms that Above.com supports.

The Above.com Parking Manager service is FREE! They don’t take a percentage of your parking revenues and there are no hidden costs. There is an Enterprise edition of Above.com Parking Manager due to be released soon, that is subscription based, however the free version will continue to be offered and continually improved upon.

I’ve been working with Ren over at Above.com and the service and response times to my emails have been fantastic.

The only thing is Above needs a comprehensive FAQ b/c you will have so many questions when you start up that it takes a while to figure everything out.

This service should have appeared five years ago, however, better late than never.

Kudos to Above.com and Ren for bringing this great service to market, and for great customer service also !!!

Sounds very interesting – thanks for posting. Was wondering if they require the userid and password for each parking provider or is access accomplished via an OAuth type API?

I’ve created an account, and have confirmed they require your login credentials… I’m not exactly comfortable with that, and would prefer an intermediate credential aggregator like you suggested. Yet, I’ll likely fill in a low-yield account or a dummy one to check out the service in the meantime.

Whether an account login needs to provided very much depends on the parking services used.

Many Parking services provide an API with a separate API Key to download stats. Others provide a separate FTP access for stats. Where available these options can be used and a userid/password does not need to be provided.

For services that do not offer such options, account login needs to be entered in the Above.com settings for automatic report management.

The only other option is to upload reports manually but this is not the ideal solution.
