Whether an account login needs to provided very much depends on the parking services used.

Many Parking services provide an API with a separate API Key to download stats. Others provide a separate FTP access for stats. Where available these options can be used and a userid/password does not need to be provided.

For services that do not offer such options, account login needs to be entered in the Above.com settings for automatic report management.

The only other option is to upload reports manually but this is not the ideal solution.

I've created an account, and have confirmed they require your login credentials... I'm not exactly comfortable with that, and would prefer an intermediate credential aggregator like you suggested. Yet, I'll likely fill in a low-yield account or a dummy one to check out the service in the meantime.

Sounds very interesting - thanks for posting. Was wondering if they require the userid and password for each parking provider or is access accomplished via an OAuth type API?

I've been working with Ren over at Above.com and the service and response times to my emails have been fantastic.

The only thing is Above needs a comprehensive FAQ b/c you will have so many questions when you start up that it takes a while to figure everything out.

This service should have appeared five years ago, however, better late than never.

Kudos to Above.com and Ren for bringing this great service to market, and for great customer service also !!!
