If you use Facebook, or if you have read any popular blogs over the last couple of days, you will be aware of the new privacy policy that kicked in yesterday on Facebook.

If you logged in yesterday or if you log in for the first time since the day before, you will be presented with a screen that makes you agree to some privacy changes which if you are not careful basically allow the whole world access to your status updates and a hell of a lot more personal information.

One of the reasons people use Facebook is because they can share photos and information with friends without having to worry about the whole world getting an insight into their private life, so this change, which the careless will allow without even reading the fine print, will, I believe, impact a lot of lives.

In any case, there is a lot of uproar over the changes, and yes, you can go into your privacy settings and make sure that your profile is in fact still private and that you still share all your stuff with only your friends, but in the mean time, there is some fun to be had.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerber has made his profile public – you can see his status updates, his wall, his about page and his events.

What he also did, initially, was make his photo albums public. They have since been made private but not before people took screenshots and such letting you see the young mogul plastered and all relaxed in the privacy of his home and office. To read more and check out the photos go here and here.

Was it intentional or a gaff? I am thinking the latter.
