370 Passwords You Can’t Use On Twitter

Some folks have noticed that there are 370 passwords hardcoded on the Twitter signup page that you can’t use to sign up to Twitter.
I assume Twitter has extrapolated this list from possible published lists of passwords used to crack accounts – so it’s a good idea not to use these terms as your passwords for other internet accounts too.
To view the entire list go to the Twitter signup page and view the source code by going to View Source in your browser.
Here are some terms that are in the list of passwords you can’t use:

If they were serious about password security they’d use a password strength checker.
so, it seems that 000000, 222222, 333333, 444444, 555555, 888888 and 999999 are allowed…
