The company explained on it’s website on 14 February 2010 that it was able to reduce prices as a result of the growth of .MX in the last few years.
NIC .MX announced that the following prices will apply to .MX domain names starting February 1, 2010:
| Classification | Price registration per year | Price renewals per year |
| .COM.MX | $11 USD | $19 USD |

NIC Mexico is one of the few domain registries which can speak of sustained growth. This has been possible thanks to user interest in using domains ending in. MX to identify with Mexico, which has allowed us to obtain more than 382.549 domain names registered by the end of last year said Oscar Robles, Director General of NIC Mexico.
It is our commitment to move forward with dedication, energy and dynamism to continue to provide operational excellence in the management of aggregate resources.
