Domain registrar Register.com recently rolled out an innovative domain selling website vouching to send all purchasers of their listed domain names a complimentary gift.
The new sales venue – Orange List – will send you a free box of Florida oranges with any purchase of domain names from their list – a list that includes names like adwareprotection.com, designertoilets.com and donutworld.com (delivery of oranges limited to the continental USA).
Obviously a marketing ploy, it’s a “fresh” approach to domain selling (excuse the pun).

Register.com actually has good, cheap shared web hosting that comes with a dedicated IP address. Dedicated IP’s help websites show up in Google, at least that’s what my SEO guy tells me.
DesignerToilets.com huh…. I’ll have to sit on the pot and think of an end use for that one. LOL.
