Default estibot and overture tool

Can someone tell me please, if the overture tool in estibot.com is just the same (same results and validity) of the real overture tool?

Thank you

I had no idea that the Overture tool was still around...

You can use Google's keyword tool which now gives actual search numbers
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Thanks tekmo, actually that is the one I have been using, but I read in other forums Overture, Overture, Overture, Overture, and then using estibot I saw that they have a section there with this.

Good to know, that it is part of the past.

Thanks

Overture seems to have died out.

Instead, you can use:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Google Insights for Search
and to an extent:
Free Keyword Suggestion Tool From Wordtracker

I took part in Ed Dale & Dan Raine's Thirty Day Challenge and they gave out a free trial version of Market Samurai, which has a keyword tool. The challenge ended Aug 31 but the site is still up. I'm still trying to finish the challenge. Try googling Market Samurai or go to Thirty Day Challenge.

I would personally trust wordtracker over any other similar tool out there. Google search is ok but not as acurate as wordtracker IMO.

Surely google would have a more accurate handle on the search traffic?

They are estimates and usually do not contain an entire string of words. For instance "was it" "how to" will have extremely large results but they are actually broken results. Used like "was it new" or "how to find domains".

Wordtracker tracks the specific phrase or group of words specifically per day. Plus google does not record the results if the term is not searched for a certain amount of times.
