The premium lists are a lot of work. On average it takes me about 5 hours to put together one 500 domain list. Considering that with an exclusive membership you get 12 lists of 500 domains per month ... that equates to $1.24 per list. Not very expensive in my opinion.
However, you do NOT have to pay, it is completely optional.

Premium lists are longer lists (500+ domains per list). Additionally, because less people are willing to pay for the lists... you get a better chance of grabbing some good ones.
