7.000 unique visitors a month

Hello all!

There is a domain that I can buy, has a traffic rank in the 500K acordding to Alexa. And it has more than 7.000 unique visitors a month. Is developed, is an online store, but lately doesn't sell enough.

Is not a name that people would google, but it has had more than 7k unique visitos a month for some years. So I am guessing that if I buy it and turn it into a web that focuses, more than in selling products, in having adds and signing to affiliate programas of competitors of that market... the traffic wouldn't have to reduce and I could produce good revenues.

Do you think that is a reasonbable line of thought? How much do you think a web like that could be worth?

Hey Gustavo. I would suggest be careful. Sometimes what looks too good to be true usually is. However, you can land an awesome catch from time to time.

Make sure the traffic stats are not faked. Try to find out how they are getting their visitors to this site. Is it type in traffic, PPC, organic, etc? As long as all that looks ok there is no reason not to take advantage of the flow of traffic to the domain. Good luck.

most of the traffic comes from looking for the products that they sell in google and from links in forums or other places. They also spend 30€ a month in sponsored links, which brings them some traffic too. I know that the stats are real for sure. I know the owners very very well.

But we don't know what would be a good price for a website with those characteristics. So if any one could give an guestimate I would appriciate ir.
