How many domain names do you own?

Well just curious how many domains people here own ..

i just started with the domain thing and currently have just 14 domains (not much) planning to increased to 100 if i have enough $$

how about you guys ?

I try to keep my portfolio around 100, have had it upwards of 1000 at one point.

Depends on whether you are wanting to sell them off, or use the domains to generate money long term...

Scan the dropped lists and our very own premium lists(shameless plug

) for good domains.
use google keywords and wordtracker for keyword popularity and search volume and read top domainers posts/blog, keep on reading, read more...........well you get the idea.

The very first step I would recomend is read forums, and most important the appraisals in the forums, that way you get an idea of what is worth something and what not. And Iwon't get tired of saying this, buy Domaining Manifesto, it will safe you a lot of time.

Ohh, and by the way I have 10 names and I have been doing this for a month, I am trying to be patient. I have read posts about people that start in the domaining industry and in their first week they buy 30 or 40 domains, and of course, most of them are worth less than reg fee.

So another thing Iwould say, is be patient... and I know that is very very difficult! I am dying to buy domains!!

U have a great virtue! I started out buying 15 domains/day lol, used up all saving money of a college boy. I have few regrets but I'm optimistic. I'll sell some craps soon lol.

Thak you, it is very very difficult. More than anything if you count with the fact that from those 10 that I own 4 are my bussines or personal domains, so they are not for domaining bussinesses. It is very very hard to not go crazy and start buying domains. But I am doing my best

Thank you. This week I have had a lot of work so I hadn't been able to start with my plans. But in the next 3 weeks I expect to show you 2 developed webs, and maybe I'll buy 2 or 4 more. I know there is a .info that I want to develope. But I am not sure about that one.

Anyways I am doing some plans. First start slow, read, read, read, and then start with the trial and error part, but do it with some more knowledge.

I'm on about 100 domains atm I think, with less than 10 with fully developed sites and about 20 under construction I guess

That is a good % (30%) of developed sites, isn't it? most of the people only develope a few of their names and most of them are parked, right?
